Reusable Grow Mat
Cut to fit Commercial Production Rack channels exactly, so moisture stays even across the full length. 70+ cycles per mat, and your annual soil cost goes to zero.
Specifications
Dimensions: 9" x 72" (23cm x 183cm)
Grow Area: 4.5 ft² (4,180 cm²)
Material: Reusable grow mat
Uses per mat: 65–70 cycles with proper care
Compatible system: Commercial Production Rack (CPR) 9" x 72" channels
Performance and Use
These mats support even germination by distributing water consistently across the full 72" channel length. The material provides stable root support while maintaining proper moisture balance, helping reduce dry spots, oversaturation, and uneven growth.
They are suitable for both microgreens and baby greens and perform reliably across a wide range of crop varieties when used with proper irrigation and handling.
The precise 9" x 72" dimensions ensure full contact across the entire CPR channel surface. No gaps, no bunching, consistent results every cycle.
Durability and Lifespan
Designed for commercial environments, the mats maintain their structure through repeated handling, cleaning, and reuse. With proper care, each mat is rated for approximately 65–70 grow cycles.
Reusable construction reduces waste and lowers long-term replacement costs compared to disposable growing media.
To extend mat life:
- Remove roots gently after each harvest
- Rinse with clean water between cycles
- Allow to dry fully before reseeding
- Inspect periodically for wear or damage
- Store flat when not in use
Compatibility and Integration
The 9" x 72" mat is designed specifically for Commercial Production Rack (CPR) grow channels. It covers the full 72" channel length end to end for complete surface coverage.
This mat is not compatible with AutoKit or StarterKit channels. For AutoKit systems, use the 9" x 30" mat. For standard soil tray setups, use the 10" x 20" mat.
The mat integrates directly into your existing CPR workflow, no modifications required. Seed directly onto the mat surface the same way you would with soil media.
Cut for Commercial Production Rack 9" x 72" channels
Six feet of growing surface in one piece. One mat covers a full Commercial Production Rack channel, so there is no seam in the middle of the crop and no second piece to line up. Lay it in, seed it, and the whole channel finishes together.

What you eliminate
- Annual soil and growing media purchasing cost
- Disposable tray waste after every cycle
- Inconsistent moisture from uneven soil packing
- Post-harvest tray disposal and cleanup time
- Variable rooting conditions from batch to batch
The cost math over time
Mat price
One mat covers a full 9" x 72" channel. No cutting, no joining two shorter pieces.
Reusable mat, per cycle
At $28.65 per mat over 70 cycles, your cost per use drops to cents. No soil. No disposal.
Media it replaces
Seventy rounds of single-use media at $1 to $3 each, against one mat bought once.
Cost figures are estimates based on the $28.65 mat price and typical media costs. Your numbers will vary with supplier and volume.
Full channel in one piece
Cut to the full 9" x 72" channel length. No seam in the middle of the crop and no second piece to align.
Consistent cycle after cycle
Even moisture distribution and stable root support mean your crops finish the same way every time. Less guesswork, fewer dry spots, more predictable harvests.
Works for microgreens and baby greens
The 9" x 72" mat performs reliably for both crop types. Switch between microgreens and baby greens without switching mats.
Durability and lifespan
The mats hold their structure through repeated handling, cleaning, and reuse. With proper care, each mat is rated for 70+ grow cycles.
After harvest, roots pull out cleanly. Rinse the mat, let it dry, and it is ready for the next cycle the same day.
Proper care extends mat life

Which mat fits your system
The 9" x 72" mat is cut for Commercial Production Rack channels. StarterKit and AutoKit channels take the 9" x 30". Standard soil trays take the 10" x 20".
