More demand. A production model that couldn't keep up.
They started in 2023 in soil and coco, harvesting about 14.5 lbs a week from up to 57 trays. Every extra pound meant more space, more media and more labor. For two people that was the ceiling.
They wanted soil gone and a growing medium that behaved the same every cycle.
Soil gone. Output doubled.
Their first AutoKit went in during August 2024 and harvested its first channels that September. They ran it beside their coco trays while they learned it, and added a second AutoKit a year later. In 2025, still running coco alongside the channels, they grew over 900 lbs.
In January 2026 they dropped coco entirely. Within weeks they reached 34 lbs a week from the same room, more than double what the trays produced. Each channel yields close to a pound per harvest, about twice what a tray gave them.
They grow 22 varieties, and waste for all of 2025 came to about 20 ounces. Their tender leaf mix sells out every week.
