Specifications

Dimensions: 10" x 20" (25cm x 50cm)
Grow Area: 1.39 ft² (1,291 cm²)
Material: Reusable grow mat
Uses per mat: 65–70 cycles with proper care
Compatible use: Direct replacement for standard 10" x 20" soil trays

Performance and Use

These mats support even germination by distributing water consistently across the growing surface. The material provides stable root support while maintaining proper moisture balance, helping reduce dry spots, oversaturation, and uneven growth.

Suitable for microgreens and baby greens across a wide range of crop varieties when used with proper irrigation and handling.

The 10" x 20" mat is a direct drop-in replacement for standard soil trays. Seed it the same way you would with soil, no technique changes, no new equipment, no system modifications required.

Durability and Lifespan

Designed for commercial environments, the mats maintain their structure through repeated handling, cleaning, and reuse. With proper care, each mat is rated for approximately 65–70 grow cycles.

Reusable construction reduces waste and lowers long-term replacement costs compared to disposable growing media.

To extend mat life:
- Remove roots gently after each harvest
- Rinse with clean water between cycles
- Allow to dry fully before reseeding
- Inspect periodically for wear or damage
- Store flat when not in use

Compatibility and Integration

The 10" x 20" mat is designed as a direct replacement for standard 10" x 20" soil trays. It fits any setup that currently uses traditional flat growing trays, no channel required, no system changes needed.

This mat is not designed to fit AutoKit or Commercial Production Rack channels. For AutoKit systems, use the 9" x 30" mat. For CPR systems, use the 9" x 72" mat.

The mat integrates directly into your existing tray-based workflow. Seed directly onto the mat surface the same way you would with soil media. After harvest, roots pull out cleanly, the mat rinses easily, and it is ready for the next cycle the same day.

What you eliminate

  • Annual soil and growing media purchasing cost
  • Disposable tray waste after every cycle
  • Inconsistent moisture from uneven soil packing
  • Post-harvest tray disposal and cleanup time
  • Variable rooting conditions from batch to batch

The cost math over time

Soil tray — per cycle

$1–3+
Soil, tray, and disposal cost every single cycle. Adds up fast across a full season.

Reusable mat — per cycle

~$0.14
At $9.95 per mat over 70 cycles, your cost per use drops to cents. No soil. No disposal.

Savings over 70 cycles

$60+
Per mat, compared to single-use soil trays. Multiply that across your full tray count.

Drop-in replacement

No workflow changes. No new equipment. The 10"×20" mat fits where your soil tray was and works the same way — just without the recurring cost.

Consistent cycle after cycle

Even moisture distribution and stable root support mean your crops finish the same way every time. Less guesswork, fewer dry spots, more predictable harvests.
